After 70 years of construction and development, with the efforts of the entire political system, all cadres, party members and people, Tang Thanh commune has achieved many great achievements in socio-economics, security and defense, along with the good implementation of the emulation movement to build new rural areas and advanced new rural areas.
After 70 years with 30 Party Cell Congresses, the Party Committee now has 305 Party members and 11 Party cell organizations. In the process of leading and implementing political tasks, the Party Committee and the Commune Government have proposed many resolutions and solutions suitable to the potential and advantages; taking advantage of the support of the province and the district for comprehensive development. Tang Thanh has gradually developed from an average commune to the top of the district.
In particular, during the implementation of the new rural construction program from 2011 to present, the Party Committee, government and people of the commune have promoted the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, unanimity, constantly innovated, overcome difficulties, flexibly and synchronously implemented tasks and solutions in new rural construction suitable to local realities.
That is, mobilizing and attracting investment capital combined with programs and projects, especially capital contributed by the people. As one of the first communes in Yen Thanh district to achieve advanced new rural standards, in the period 2015-2021, Tang Thanh commune focused on mobilizing and integrating resources of over 408 billion VND. In particular, the people of the whole commune contributed 236.5 billion VND, accounting for 57.8%. In 2021 and 2022, 12 projects and 18 works were implemented with a total cost of over 66 billion VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Vo Thi Nhung - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development congratulated, acknowledged and commended the achievements in building new rural areas of the Party Committee, government and people of Tang Thanh commune. She also emphasized that in order to maintain the achieved results and strive to build Tang Thanh commune into a model new rural commune of Yen Thanh district and Nghe An province, she requested the Party Committee, government and people of Tang Thanh commune to continue to carry out 5 key tasks such as improving the quality, promoting the role of the Fatherland Front of the commune and socio-political organizations in building new rural areas.
At the same time, mobilize and integrate resources in new rural construction to create strong and synchronous resources to build and improve criteria. Along with that, continue to effectively restructure the agricultural sector, develop the economy; bring local key products into the One Commune One Product Program of the province to increase added value, in line with the digital transformation process. Communes need to preserve, maintain and promote the good traditional cultural values of their homeland and nation.
On this occasion, representatives of the provincial leaders, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Vo Thi Nhung and Secretary of the District Party Committee Le Thi Hoai Chung awarded the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting advanced new rural standards, presented a welfare project worth 600 million VND and presented the Emulation Flag to the Party Committee, government and people of Tang Thanh commune.
Representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 1 collective and 3 individuals who have made many contributions to the process of building and developing the socio-economy of Tang Thanh commune and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 2 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to build advanced new rural areas.
The leaders of Yen Thanh district presented the commune with the banner "Party Committee, government, people of Tang Thanh commune 70 years of construction and development (1953-2023)". Chairman of the district People's Committee Phan Van Tuyen presented Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement in Tang Thanh commune. The leaders of Tang Thanh commune also presented Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the advanced new rural construction movement in the locality.
