Ya Ma Commune determined to carry out 2 breakthroughs to create momentum for development

(GLO)- On the morning of August 20, the Ya Ma Commune Party Committee (Gia Lai Province) held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 140 delegates representing 487 Party members in the commune Party Committee. In the new term, the Ya Ma Commune Party Committee is determined to carry out two breakthroughs to create momentum for development.

Also attending the Congress were comrades: Bui Thuy - Deputy Head of Department of Local Affairs II, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Phan Quang Thai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, agencies, localities and units of the province.

Ya Ma commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Dak To Pang, Kong Yang and Ya Ma (old); with a natural area of 176.88 ^km2 , a population of 8,564 people, the proportion of ethnic minorities accounts for 73.12%.

During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people in the commune have united, made efforts, overcome all difficulties and challenges to achieve many outstanding results in all fields.

The average annual growth rate of production value reached 9.45%; the total production value by 2025 is estimated at 651,045 billion VND; the average income per capita reached 32.37 million VND/year; the economic structure gradually shifted in a positive direction; the total budget revenue in the commune from the beginning of the term to present is 8.92 billion VND.

The Congress approved the main targets for the 2025-2030 term, including striving for a product value growth rate of 8.9% by 2030; state budget revenue of 3,700 million VND by 2030; the rate of population participating in health insurance reaching 98%; multidimensional poverty reduction from 6.51%/year or more; the rate of rural population using hygienic water reaching 99%.

Speaking at the Congress, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Thi Phong Vu emphasized: The new Ya Ma Commune Party Executive Committee needs to focus on leadership and direction to consolidate the strength of the great national unity bloc. In particular, drastic solutions must be implemented to successfully implement breakthroughs such as promoting the development of science and technology applications, innovation and digital transformation in the political system and people's lives; focusing on raising awareness, perfecting mechanisms and policies, increasing investment and developing human resources.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and key leadership positions of the Ya Ma Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Committee Executive Committee consists of 24 comrades, comrade Dinh Thi Biu was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
