Gasoline prices slightly reduced from 3:00 p.m. on July 18

Specifically, after the adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the price of E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 108 VND/liter, not higher than 22,174 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by 116 VND/liter, not higher than 23,178 VND/liter.

Prices of various types of oil are also adjusted down, diesel 0.05S is not higher than 20,504 VND/liter (down 330 VND/liter compared to the current base price); kerosene is not higher than 20,664 VND/liter (down 374 VND/liter compared to the current base price); mazut 180CST 3.5S is not higher than 17,611 VND/kg (down 173 VND/kg compared to the current base price).

In this operating period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market in this operating period (from July 11 to 17) is affected by factors such as: the US crude oil reserves (the world's largest oil producer and consumer); expectations that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will cut interest rates in the third quarter, which could boost economic activities; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues; geopolitical risks in the Middle East increase... These factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days, but the downward trend is the main one.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on July 11 and the adjustment period on July 18 was 92.73 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (down 0.614 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.66%); 97.15 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 0.614 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.63%); 98.606 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 2.168 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.15%); 99.308 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 1.906 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.88%); 514.498 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 6.246 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 1.2%).
