Farmers and women of Long Cang commune join forces to take care of green, clean and beautiful roads

Along the rural roads are neatly trimmed green hedges, adding to the bright picture of the countryside. Responding to the policy of building new rural areas (NTM), advanced NTM, and the movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life, local people in the province have contributed their efforts to build many roads with trees, flowers and lighting systems.

Flower routes in the province have the cooperation and contribution of the people.

Thu Thua Commune, Tay Ninh Province actively beautifies the landscape, striving to build a bright, green, clean and beautiful landscape. In that effort, it is impossible not to mention the contributions of cadres and women's union members (WCU). In which, the environment is considered one of the hard and difficult criteria, so in recent times, the Commune Women's Union (WCU) has actively carried out many activities to contribute with the Party Committee, government and people in the commune to focus on building flower roads.

Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Thu Thua Commune Nguyen Thi Thu Thao informed: Thu Thua Commune was established on the basis of merging Thu Thua Town, part of Binh Thanh Commune, Tan Thanh Commune and Nhi Thanh Commune, so the area is relatively large, the number of female workers is large. Immediately after the merger, the Association organized meetings of the branches to inform, disseminate and gather female workers, focusing on maintaining and improving the criteria in building new rural areas.

“When there were no flower streets, littering still occurred on the streets. After the Women’s Union launched the flower and tree planting model, the Women’s Union branches contributed their efforts and labor, and unanimously took care of and created beautiful flower streets. At the same time, the Union promoted and mobilized people to join hands in protecting the environment,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao.

One afternoon in July, a large number of HVPN and farmers in Long Cang commune were still diligently cleaning the road leading to Phat Buu pagoda in Hamlet 10. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Trinh - Head of the Women's Union in Hamlet 10, shared: "Although this road does not pass my house, I still participate in weeding and pruning trees. Here, people often organize campaigns to beautify the country roads."

According to Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Cang Commune, Lai Thi Kim Minh, in response to the activities to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, in recent days, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the commune have launched environmental protection activities. These include mainly planting trees, flowers, cleaning the campus, roads in the hamlet, etc.

In particular, movements launched by localities and organizations have received positive responses from people, especially environmental sanitation of village roads, alleys, and fields; collecting pesticide packaging in the right place; building and managing "green, clean, beautiful" roads, etc.

In Tan Tap commune, Chairwoman of the Women's Union Vo Thi Nhu Thao said that the Women's Union was established on the basis of merging the Women's Unions of three communes: Phuoc Vinh Dong, Tan Tap and Dong Thanh. Inheriting and promoting the results of the Union's work in the old communes, practically welcoming the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Tan Tap commune, term 2025-2030, contributing to improving the quality of the new rural criteria after the merger, the Union launched a special emulation campaign to celebrate this meaningful event.

Accordingly, each branch registers 1 model and task to celebrate. In addition, the Association maintains and effectively implements the Campaign to build "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" contributing to fostering Vietnamese family values; organizes environmental sanitation, and beautifies routes managed by the Association: Garbage-free route; Green, clean, beautiful route;...

Each new rural road that has been renovated is the result of the joint efforts and consensus of all levels of government and people. From bright, green, clean, and beautiful roads, people in the province are joining hands to "breathe a new wind" into the appearance of the countryside. Each road is beautiful not only thanks to the investment of the government but also thanks to the awareness, responsibility, and joint efforts of each household./.
