The fire occurred at 2:30 PM on October 3rd, on Thach Lam Street, Tan Phu District (Ho Chi Minh City).
A young man was driving a Pega S electric motorbike on Thach Lam Street, heading from Binh Long Street towards Luuy Ban Bich Street.
When the vehicle reached 97 Thach Lam Street (Hiep Tan Ward), it caught fire, and thick smoke billowed out.
Hearing the shouts of people warning of the fire, the young man quickly pulled his motorbike to the side of the road. In an instant, the flames erupted fiercely, engulfing the entire electric motorbike.
Young people and local residents mobilized, bringing nearly 10 mini fire extinguishers to approach and spray the electric motorbike, but it continued to burn fiercely.
The electric motorbike burned down, leaving only a metal frame.
By the time professional firefighters arrived and brought the fire under control, the electric motorbike had been completely burned, leaving only a metal frame.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the police.
