A 7-story building on Le Loi Street (Hanoi) caught fire.

(PLVN) - At approximately 8:15 AM on January 8th, a fire broke out in a multi-story building at 77 Le Loi Street, Ha Dong Ward (Hanoi).

According to the Hanoi Moi newspaper, the fire occurred on the first floor of the house, spreading rapidly and producing a large amount of smoke that caused panic among residents. The fire also spread to the advertising sign of a neighboring business.

When the fire broke out, someone trapped inside the house jumped out into the neighboring house, sustaining injuries, and was rescued with the help of local residents.

Upon receiving the report, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center promptly dispatched Fire and Rescue Team No. 4, along with reinforcements from other fire and rescue teams, with officers, soldiers, fire trucks, and ladder trucks to the scene to extinguish the fire and conduct search and rescue operations.

According to Dan Tri newspaper, authorities have not yet determined whether there were any casualties in the incident.
