According to information from the Japanese automotive joint venture, compatibility with older models is entirely possible. The company confirms that all Suzuki car models manufactured and officially distributed in the Vietnamese market from 2001 onwards are fully compatible with E10 bioethanol fuel.
Therefore, models up to 25 years old, such as the Carry Truck light truck, the 2001 Blind Van pickup truck, or the 2003 Grand Vitara SUV, are all considered safe. The rubber seals, fuel lines, and injector structures of these vehicles are still capable of stable and reliable operation when switching to new fuels without requiring changes to the mechanical structure or adjustments to the engine control unit.
Furthermore, the new generation of passenger cars currently circulating in large numbers on the streets, such as the XL7, Ertiga Hybrid, Ciaz, Swift, and the Jimny off-road vehicle, all meet the highest technical compatibility standards.

The Suzuki Wagon model, manufactured since 2001, meets the standards for using E10 gasoline.
For the motorcycle segment, the list of compatible models is clearly differentiated by the year of manufacture and the technological transition from carburetors to electronic fuel injection systems. Unlike cars, the safety timeline for Suzuki motorcycles shifts to a later date.
The oldest mainstream motorcycle models from the company that have been confirmed to run well on E10 bioethanol fuel are the Xbike and Axelo, produced since 2007. Later models of scooters and mainstream motorcycles such as the Hayate SS FI (2011), Viva FI 115 (2013), Impulse (2014), and Address (2015) also meet fuel safety technical standards.

Suzuki's high-performance motorcycle models are all compatible with E10 gasoline.
In particular, sports motorcycles and high-performance motorbikes such as the Raider R150, Satria F150, GSX-R150, GSX-S150, Gixxer 250, V-Strom, Gladius, or the iconic Hayabusa, which possess high-performance engines, do not encounter any mechanical problems when using E10 ethanol fuel.
To maximize vehicle durability, the automaker advises consumers to only refuel with E10 bioethanol at authorized gas stations that meet the quality standards of regulatory agencies. This is to avoid the risk of fuel contamination or water absorption, which could affect the fuel injection system and combustion chamber.
Vehicles included in the published compatibility list, when using the correct fuel standards, will still be fully covered by the manufacturer's warranty and maintenance rights as stipulated.
