Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha recently signed Decision No. 1225/QD-TTg dated October 24, 2023, classifying two historical sites as special national monuments (14th batch).
Tra Co communal house is an architectural and artistic heritage site.
Specifically, the two sites that were classified as special national historical sites in this round are:
1. Historical site of the Van Don Trading Port Complex (Van Don district, Quang Ninh province).
2. Tra Co communal house, an architectural and artistic relic (Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province).
The protected area for the monument is defined according to the Minutes and Maps of the protected areas for the monument in the dossier.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Chairpersons of the People's Committees at all levels where the ranked relics are located, within their respective duties and powers, to carry out state management of the relics in accordance with the law on cultural heritage.
