Groups of domestic and international tourists flock to visit the Independence Palace.
The Independence Palace is 4,500 m2 wide, 26 m high, with a usable area of 20,000 m2. It is the workplace of the president and cabinet of the Republic of Vietnam government. On April 30, 1975, the Palace was the place where power was transferred to the Revolutionary government, ending the war and unifying the country.
In 1976, the project was recognized as a special national monument, a famous historical relic, attracting many tourists, especially on April 30.
