The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has recently sent a document seeking opinions from the Ministry of Construction , the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the Northern Power Corporation regarding the content of the 1/2000 scale zoning plan for the Giang Quang Thinh Industrial Park in Thieu Hoa district.
The planning area covers parts of the administrative boundaries of Thieu Giang, Thieu Quang, Thieu Thinh, and Thieu Hop communes in Thieu Hoa district. The planning area includes 298.56 hectares of land within the industrial zone and 50.32 hectares of land outside the industrial zone.
In terms of spatial planning, the industrial park is divided into two main zones, including: Zone A, with an area of approximately 175.68 hectares, located west of Dinh Cong Road - Thanh Hoa City and partly south of Hoang Xuan - Thieu Long Road; and Zone B, with an area of approximately 122.88 hectares, which is the remaining area located opposite.
The industrial park area, covering 214.13 hectares (71.72%), is planned with flexible land plots for factory and industrial construction, allowing for the merging of multiple plots to meet the construction requirements of large-scale factories. Emphasis is placed on attracting large enterprises that will serve as key drivers for the industrial park's development.
The administrative, public, and service area, including facilities such as: executive offices, management agencies, accommodation facilities, commercial service and product display buildings, fire fighting team, industrial park cultural and sports center... is located near the entrances and exits of the industrial park.
The key technical infrastructure facilities, including a wastewater treatment plant, a 110kV power station, a parking lot, a vehicle repair workshop, a clean water plant, a regulating reservoir, and a pumping station, are located in the southwest area of the industrial park, adjacent to transportation routes that facilitate connection with the technical infrastructure system inside and outside the industrial park.
The Giang Quang Thinh Industrial Park is a multi-sector industrial park that applies high technology, is environmentally friendly, and aims towards Industry 4.0; prioritizing electronics and high-tech industries. The projected workforce is approximately 30,000 people.
The establishment of industrial zones to attract and serve the needs of investors, along with the synchronized investment in technical infrastructure in Thieu Hoa district, connecting with Nghi Son Economic Zone and other industrial zones, contributes to the socio-economic development of Thieu Hoa district in particular and Thanh Hoa province in general.
