Colonel Vu Chi Nghia: Among the many achievements and feats of the Brigade, there are some feats with special marks that have gone down in the history of the nation and the Army, such as: The victory of the first battle of Ta May-Lang Vay in the Road 9-Khe Sanh Campaign (1968) was the first feat of the Armored Forces (TTG), establishing the tradition of "Once in battle, we must win" of the heroic TTG Troops; achieving many feats in the Tri Thien-Hue Campaign (1972)... In particular, in the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign (1975), the unit in the formation of the 2nd Corps quickly broke through, penetrated deeply, and tanks crashed through the gate of the Independence Palace, forcing the puppet President Duong Van Minh to surrender unconditionally. This is the most typical feat, forever the pride of generations of officers and soldiers of the Brigade, clearly demonstrating the spirit of "Speed, boldness - Once in battle, we must win", affirming the bravery, will and combat level of the unit.

Colonel Vu Chi Nghia: On the basis of thoroughly grasping the resolutions and directives of the superiors on building a lean, strong, modernized Army and the Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation, the Party Committee and the command of the 203rd Tank Brigade determined: First of all, it is necessary to clearly understand the requirements of the tasks, thereby focusing on improving the quality of training, combat readiness, building a strong and comprehensive unit, creating a clear change in the implementation of tasks. Regarding solutions, it is necessary to strengthen the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and commanders, promote the role of mass organizations; strengthen the solidarity between the army and the people, and unite officers and soldiers with the same will to perform the tasks well; promote the Emulation Movement to Win, creating motivation for officers and soldiers to strive. In addition, leaders and commanders must closely direct, inspect, urge, promptly correct and overcome limitations and shortcomings.

The above policies and solutions demonstrate the high determination of the Party Committee and Brigade commanders in building an increasingly strong unit, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation, worthy of the glorious tradition that generations of fathers and brothers have worked hard to cultivate.
