President Luong Cuong affirmed that the visit contributed to creating new momentum for the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The two sides agreed that this event took place in the context of the two countries celebrating many major milestones, contributing to strengthening political trust and opening up new directions in bilateral cooperation.

President Luong Cuong emphasized that strengthening and developing relations with Russia has always been a top strategic priority in Vietnam's foreign policy. He asked the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia and the Vietnamese National Assembly to support and promote the implementation of agreements reached between the two countries' senior leaders, and urge and create a favorable legal framework to bring Vietnam-Russia relations to a new level, in a practical and effective manner in all fields.

The Chairman of the Russian State Duma said it is necessary to further promote the role of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee and Friendship Parliamentary Groups, affirming that the Russian State Duma supports the two sides' cooperation in economics - trade, energy - oil and gas, and education - training.
