At around 9:35 p.m. on September 21, a technology taxi driven by a male driver was traveling across Loc Lam Bridge (the border between Long Binh Ward and Trang Dai Ward, Dong Nai Province). While moving, the car was suddenly swept away by the water into the stream. Discovering the incident, the driver quickly opened the door and escaped. Fortunately, at the time of the incident, the car was not carrying passengers.

Upon receiving the news, that same night, the rescue force, Long Binh Ward Police and local militia quickly arrived, blocked off the scene, guided people to move to other roads to ensure safety and mobilized life jackets to organize a search for the vehicle that was swept away. However, due to prolonged heavy rain and strong stream currents, the authorities were still unable to determine the location of the vehicle that had crashed.
