The New Rural Development Program has contributed to changing the face of rural areas. The material and spiritual lives of the people have been increasingly improved. This achievement is the result of the joint efforts and unity of the Party Committee, the government, and the people of the province. Diversify the mobilization of resources for building new rural areas.
In implementing the National Target Program for building new rural areas, the People's Committee of Ninh Binh city has closely followed the directives from the Central Government and the province to focus on directing and implementing the program.
To date, Ninh Phuc and Ninh Tien communes have been recognized as achieving advanced new rural standards. Eleven villages have been recognized as achieving model new rural standards. Infrastructure has been invested in and developed to meet the needs of production and daily life. The rural economy is shifting towards increasing the proportion of industry, trade, and services, increasing income for rural workers, and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people. Security and order in the communes continue to be maintained, and the people are enthusiastic and confident in the leadership of the Party and the management and administration of the local government.
These results are the product of the concerted efforts and unity of the local Party committee, government, and people in implementing the New Rural Development program.
In the coming period, the task of building new rural areas will continue to be a priority for the city, with a focus on diversifying resource mobilization for rural development according to the motto: "Mobilizing resources from the community is crucial, the participation of businesses and society is important, and support from the budget is necessary."
The use of resources for public works must be discussed and agreed upon democratically by the people, with community supervision, ensuring openness and transparency. This effectively implements grassroots democracy according to the principle of "the people know, the people discuss, the people do, the people inspect, and the people benefit."
Emphasis should be placed on leveraging the strength of national unity in building new rural areas. Units and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the program should be promptly encouraged and rewarded to promote and expand the movement.
The New Rural Development program is helping the Muong ethnic group change.
Dong Trung village in Quang Lac commune has about 140 households, all of whom are Muong ethnic people. Since the State and the people joined hands to build the New Rural Area, we have been witnessing rapid changes on our homeland. The internal village and sub-district roads are all paved with concrete and equipped with streetlights; both sides of the roads are lined with colorful flowers planted and cared for by the villagers. Now, rain or shine, all the roads are always easy to travel on, clean and beautiful...
Along with that, the villagers gradually changed their economic practices, boldly expanding production and building livestock barns to increase their income. Harvesters and plows were applied to production, saving labor and increasing productivity. The lives of the people improved day by day.
In particular, during the construction of new rural areas, the State has paid attention to preserving and conserving the traditional cultural values of the Muong people, such as stilt houses and sets of gong and drum instruments. Thanks to this, the cultural activities of the people have become more vibrant and convenient. The people are enthusiastic and always ready to contribute their efforts to the development of the countryside. At the same time, they are striving to preserve, protect, and promote the cultural values of the Muong ethnic group.
Contributing to bringing a new look to the countryside.
After being recognized as a New Rural Area standard commune in 2015, Truong Yen was selected by the district and province to build a model New Rural Area. Recognizing this as an important political task, Truong Yen commune proactively reviewed the criteria, developed projects, plans, programs, and implementation strategies. In particular, it focused on disseminating information to quickly, fully, and promptly spread the Party and State's guidelines and policies on New Rural Area construction to officials, Party members, and the people.
In addition, the commune has diversified its efforts to mobilize all resources to invest in and upgrade rural infrastructure in a synchronized and modern manner to serve production and people's lives. As a result, by 2022, Truong Yen was recognized as a model new rural commune. The lives of the people are improving day by day. Healthcare and education are being invested in comprehensively and standardized. Village roads and alleys are spacious, clean, and beautiful...
The achievements made during the New Rural Development program have helped transform this once-difficult mountainous region significantly.
Actively contribute the energy of young people to building new rural areas.
Participating in the New Rural Development program, I encouraged my family to voluntarily donate land to contribute to the expansion of the road passing through Tay Ha village, Yen Nhan commune. At the same time, I propagated and mobilized other households to participate in donating land to expand the road with the motto "The State and the People work together." This contributed to ensuring the progress of the road construction.
We are delighted to contribute our youthful energy to the local community's efforts in fulfilling the criteria for achieving advanced new rural commune status in 2023, as planned. Not only in Tay Ha village, but now in Yen Nhan commune, many concrete roads connecting villages have contributed to creating a modern and attractive new rural landscape, facilitating travel and creating opportunities for trade development between regions.
