Request for a report on the teaching methods of the "super scammer doctor".

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has recently sent a document to colleges, vocational schools, and vocational education institutions in the city, requesting a review of the recruitment and management of teachers in the vocational education system.

The Department requests that the heads of units that previously invited or recruited Mr. NTH (born in 1981) to teach report details such as his length of service, position, title, and total teaching hours at their respective units.

The incident stemmed from the case of Mr. NTH using a fake PhD degree to apply for teaching positions at colleges and universities. The PhD degree in question, under the name NTH, in Computer Science , was awarded in 2021 (degree number QH: 22086798528xx).

Mr. H. also provided a master's degree in computer science, awarded in 2010.

All diplomas indicate that they were issued by the Faculty of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

In early September, Mr. H. was hired on a probationary basis by the Vietnam College of Industry and Trade (Ho Chi Minh City campus). On September 18th, Mr. H. was appointed Head of the Information Technology Department.

According to the school's leadership, Mr. H. stated that he had taught master's programs at several universities. When submitting his application, Mr. H. provided notarized copies of his degree.

After receiving information raising suspicions about Mr. H.'s qualifications, the school conducted an investigation.

The school sent a notarized copy of the doctoral degree under the name NTH to the University of Natural Sciences for verification. The results showed that the degree did not match the data stored at the University of Natural Sciences.

Following Mr. H.'s case, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs requested that the heads of colleges, vocational schools, and vocational education institutions review the recruitment, employment, and management of teachers in their units, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs .

For public service units, the Department requires that the diplomas and certificates of successful candidates be verified and confirmed in accordance with legal regulations before signing employment contracts, ensuring accuracy.
