On October 24, in Hanoi, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi held a press conference on the Exhibition “Russian Universities – The Best Choice” with the participation of Russian and Vietnamese universities.

The exhibition takes place from October 21-25 in Hai Phong, Nam Dinh, Hoa Binh and Hanoi , organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Vietnam, under the Russian Center for Science and Culture.

This year's exhibition has the participation of 11 leading Russian educational institutions. This is the largest number among Russian higher education exhibitions ever held in Vietnam.

At the press conference, representatives of leading Russian universities such as Moscow Power Engineering University; Moscow Aviation University; Moscow University of Technology; National Research Nuclear University; St. Petersburg Polytechnic University named after Peter the Great... will provide information and answer questions to help Vietnamese students better orient themselves about studying abroad in Russia, especially in the fields of robotics, applied physics, aerospace, rocketry, nuclear research, electronics, hydrometeorology...

Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Vietnam, Mr. Murashkin Vladimir Vladimirovich said: The project is implemented based on the agreement between the two countries' senior leaders to expand cooperation in various fields, including education. During the project implementation, many leading Russian universities have become regular partners of the project and have found partner schools in Vietnam.

Through the exhibition of Russian universities, Vietnamese students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with Russian universities; learn about and access modern, high-quality education, and study for free in Russia in many necessary fields today.

Counselor of the Russian Embassy in Vietnam, Representative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in Vietnam, Mr. Mitrofanov Evgeniy Valerievich said: This year, Vietnam and Russia have signed many agreements on education. The Russian Government has reserved 1,000 scholarships for Vietnamese students to have the opportunity to study completely free of charge at Russian universities. All Vietnamese candidates have the opportunity to study completely free of charge at universities in the Russian Federation.

According to statistics, there are currently more than 3,000 students studying in the Russian Federation, of which 2,300 students are studying under scholarships, agreements or cooperation programs between the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security...

Over the past 10 years, when Vietnamese students come to study, they will receive a warm and friendly welcome from Russian universities as well as the best support in studying and living.

Representatives of Saint Petersburg State University of Technology and Industrial Design believe that through this program, Vietnamese students will have access to Russian education and parents will have a lot of useful information. In addition, in the future, the cooperation between the Russian Federation and Vietnam will create opportunities for all Vietnamese students to receive the best quality education and training in Russia, and when they return home, they will be able to contribute to the country.
