10 thousand people attended the death anniversary ceremony of Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh

(DN) - Vice Chairman of Bien Hoa City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Thanh said that on June 10 and 11, the death anniversary of Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh took place in Hiep Hoa ward, with 10,000 people and tourists attending the death anniversary.

This year, the death anniversary of Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh was honored to receive the decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to be included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

On the evening of June 11, Bien Hoa City People's Committee organized a lion dance performance; at the same time, a 3D mapping light show and artistic fireworks display. The program attracted a large number of people in the city to watch and enjoy live and online (livestream on the Fanpage of Bien Hoa City Culture, Information and Sports Center).

Up to now, Bien Hoa city has 2 festivals listed in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List including: Ong Pagoda Festival and the traditional festival of the death anniversary of Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh.
