Gasoline and oil prices fluctuate in opposite directions, pork prices tend to decrease

Last week (June 23-27), fuel prices fluctuated in opposite directions. Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND101/liter, to VND20,530/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND128/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND21,116/liter. Meanwhile, the price of diesel oil increased by VND193/liter, to VND19,349/liter; kerosene increased by VND141/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND19,064/liter; mazut oil alone decreased by VND688/kg, to VND16,955/kg.

According to the Dong Nai Market Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade), the price of live pigs in localities in the province last week remained high, around 68-74 thousand VND/kg, of which the price of live pigs in the Long Thanh - Nhon Trach area decreased by 2 thousand VND/kg, to 68 thousand VND/kg.

At the first-class markets in the province such as Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Long Thanh, Phuong Lam (Tan Phu district), the prices of many types of food are quite stable. Specifically, pork belly costs from 150,000 to 180,000 VND/kg, beef fillet from 280,000 to 300,000 VND/kg, first-class shrimp from 180,000 to 200,000 VND/kg, chicken eggs and first-class duck eggs cost from 24,000 to 35,000 VND/dozen...
