Ms. Alang Tram, Vice Chairman of Ben Hien Commune People's Committee, said that the festival was large-scale with nearly 1,800 gifts given to Co Tu children, including moon cakes, candies, lanterns... with a total value of more than 53 million VND.

Many gifts were given specifically to children in difficult circumstances, demonstrating the care, sharing and encouragement of the local government after the merger of the new administrative unit.

"Ben Hien commune was merged from Ka Dang and Ma Cooih communes (old Dong Giang district), with a population of nearly 4,600 people, mainly Co Tu ethnic people. Despite many difficulties, the local government always strives to create conditions to take care of the lives of the people, especially children in especially difficult circumstances," Ms. Alang Tram shared.

The program was made more meaningful when the Co Tu children participated in folk games, quizzes with prizes and traditional art exchanges. The performances created a bustling, joyful atmosphere for thousands of children in the Ben Hien mountains.
