Connecting village and neighborhood love
During the days of November, in residential areas, one can clearly feel the jubilant atmosphere, the brilliant colors of flags, the bustling sound of drums and songs in the Great Unity Festival, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere towards the 95th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025).
From early morning, people in Luong Duong Residential Group, Hoa Binh Ward prepared for the festival together. The sound of laughter was bustling around the pot of steaming banh chung. 160 cakes wrapped in the Great Unity Festival were not only a traditional culinary gift of Thuy Duong banh chung, but also a bond, imbued with the love of the village and neighborhood. "We consider the Great Unity Festival as a New Year's Day, an occasion for all people to celebrate together, evaluate the results of a year to continue sharing and becoming more attached" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Head of Luong Duong Residential Group said.
In Le Ich Moc ward, My Dong residential groups from 1 to 6 organized a "National Great Unity Festival" attracting thousands of people to participate in a fair of local products and folk games such as tug of war, blindfolded duck catching... It was as fun as a village festival, everyone laughed, talked, and interacted together, further strengthening the solidarity of the residential area.

Sharing the same joy, in Bao Kiem Residential Group, Nam Trieu Ward, people excitedly organized the festival with new pride. That is the road in the residential group that has just been widened thanks to 18 households voluntarily donating more than 300 square meters of land.
The residential group has become a bright spot in the movement to build a model new rural area, with 96% of households achieving the title of cultural family, and the model of waste classification at source has been effectively maintained.
The joy of solidarity was multiplied even more meaningfully when, at Hai Thanh 2 Residential Group, Duong Kinh Ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward coordinated with Sao Do Group to hand over the Great Solidarity house to Ms. Vu Thi Lieu, a household in difficult circumstances. Ms. Lieu emotionally said: "Thanks to the attention of the locality and businesses, my mother and I have a new house of more than 70 square meters and warm human affection."
Or in Ha Nam commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune used the "For the Poor" Fund to give 33 gifts to poor households and disadvantaged families in the area.

Join hands to build civilized residential areas
The city currently has 3,011 villages and residential groups. The villages and groups always demonstrate the spirit of solidarity in building residential areas, supporting each other in times of difficulty. From the results of the past year, the villages and residential groups continue to set new goals, determined to bring the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" into depth, associated with each specific and practical task.
Attending and sharing joy with the people on the National Great Unity Day in Bao Kiem Residential Group, Nam Trieu Ward, Comrade Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized: The spirit of solidarity and unity is the strength that helps the residential area develop sustainably, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals of the Resolution of the Ward and City Party Congress.
Therefore, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and residential groups continue to promote propaganda and mobilize people to well implement the Party and State's policies and guidelines; implement the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people benefit".
Along with that, each cadre and party member needs to set an example, practice what they preach, be close to the people, and work with the people to build civilized residential areas, free of social evils and drugs, and to make life increasingly prosperous and happy.

Head of My Dong 6 Residential Group (Le Ich Moc Ward) Vu Thi Xuan expressed: "This year's festival is not only an occasion for reunion, but also a time for the residents of the residential group to come together to determine to build a model, civilized, and affectionate residential group, for the common development of Le Ich Moc Ward and the city".
