On the afternoon of November 15, local time, at the competition venue of the Games in Singapore, Le Tuan Minh played the remaining two games of the rapid chess event, games 8 and 9. In game 9, the deciding game, Le Tuan Minh held the black pieces (went last) but maintained a draw against Priasmoro Novendra (Indonesia).
With an additional 0.5 points in the final game, Le Tuan Minh completed 9 rapid games with a total of 8 points. The Vietnamese grandmaster had 7 wins and 2 draws in the games, winning the Gold Medal. The runner-up position belonged to Indonesian grandmaster Megaranto Susanto (7.5 points).
Le Tuan Minh will continue to compete in the blitz chess event, including 11 Swiss system games, of chess at the Games to seek more medal achievements. November 15 is the last day of the 2025 Asian Mind Sports Games. Grandmaster Le Tuan Minh is the only Vietnamese player participating in chess this time.
