Orchid artwork with vibrant colors

Taking place from April 26 to May 2, 2025, within the framework of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025 events, the exhibition "Ornamental plants, orchids, and ornamental rocks of three regions" combines the display of craft village products, the art of tea drinking and culinary activities, and cultural experiences taking place at the Interior Palace, Thieu Phuong Garden and Co Ha Garden - Hue Imperial City. The quiet royal space is adorned with the brilliant colors of hundreds of precious orchid species, elaborate tree shapes and rocks shaped like mountains and rivers, creating a vivid picture of harmony between nature and art.

The exhibition gathered more than 600 artisans from many provinces and cities, from Lao Cai, Hanoi to Can Tho, An Giang... bringing with them more than 1,000 outstanding works. Of which, the Jury selected 104 best works to award prizes, recognizing the creativity, skillful techniques and dedication of the artisans. In the orchid category alone, 46 awards were given in categories such as Dendrobium, Camellia, Sword, Cattleya... The bonsai and ornamental rockery exhibition also honored 58 works in the categories of large and medium bonsai, ancient art trees, miniature landscapes, rockery, original ornamental rocks and Suiseki art rocks.

Every evening from 6pm to 9:30pm for six consecutive nights (April 26 – May 1), the Hue Monuments Conservation Center opens the exhibition area for free, creating opportunities for the public and visitors to enjoy. In particular, the orchid display area at Thieu Phuong garden becomes a highlight when orchid lovers can see with their own eyes the "natural masterpieces" meticulously cared for by the hands of artisans.

Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, shared: “We hope to use this event to honor ornamental plants and traditional arts, while connecting tourism, craft villages and cultural experiences in the Hue heritage space. This is also a way to promote eco-tourism, protect the environment and develop the economy and society.”
