Upon receiving information that Lao Cai General Hospital No. 2 urgently needed blood type B to treat patients, Captain Vu Minh Viet and Captain Nguyen Dinh Linh (with blood type B) reported to the Commune Police leaders and volunteered to go to the hospital to donate blood.
The two comrades traveled 60 km to Lao Cai General Hospital No. 2 to donate blood in time to help patient Dao Thanh Binh (teacher at Bao Thang High School No. 2, Lao Cai) who is being treated for stomach cancer at the hospital.
The actions of the two comrades clearly demonstrate the spirit of "when the people need, when the people are in trouble, the police are there"; further enhancing the beautiful image of the police in the hearts of the people.
