80 years ago, the victory of the August Revolution in 1945 broke the chains of slavery of French and Japanese colonialism and overthrew the autocratic monarchy that had existed for thousands of years in our country.
In particular, the success of the August Revolution opened a new era in the nation's history - the era of national independence and socialism.
On August 28, 1945, the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam issued a Proclamation to the people and the world on the establishment of a new Government and announced the list of the National Unification Cabinet.

The list of the National Unified Cabinet included 15 Ministers, of which President Ho Chi Minh was President of the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Thus, the Declaration determined the structure of the first State administrative agencies in our country. From here, the State organizational apparatus was formed and gradually perfected to lead the people to consolidate, build the government and gain complete independence, "unify the country, North and South are one family".

From that sacred historical milestone, the Government has accompanied the nation, overcome countless difficulties, achieved glorious victories in the resistance war and stood firm on the path of building and developing the country today.
The 80th anniversary of the Government's founding is not only an occasion to pay tribute to the contributions of previous generations, but also to affirm the stature and mission of the Government, always for the people, for the aspiration of a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
