
According to the announcement of the People's Committee of Hat Mon commune, at about 5:47 a.m. on August 20, 2025, at the gate of Chung Linh pagoda, Mr. Tu Tat Than, born in 1970, permanent address: Lien Hiep 1 village, Hat Mon commune, Hanoi city discovered two abandoned newborn babies (including 1 boy and 1 girl). Mr. Tu Tat Than reported to the commune police and brought the two babies to Chung Linh pagoda.
After receiving information from citizens, Hat Mon Commune People's Committee and Commune Police proceeded to make a record of the incident. Through verification, the baby had the following identifying characteristics: Placed in a cage, covered with an umbrella, outside the temple gate with a number of items, including: 1 handbag containing 1 carton of milk; 4 milk bottles; 1 phlegm aspirator; 1 thermometer; 1 bottle of Vitamin B3; 1 tube of skin cream... along with clothes, diapers, snacks, 5 bills worth 200,000 VND and a handwritten note.
Hat Mon Commune People's Committee announced that the biological father and mother of the two children came to Hat Mon Commune People's Committee to complete the procedures to receive their children. The Commune People's Committee requests that all people, if they know information about the biological father and mother of the two children, promptly contact Hat Mon Commune People's Committee so that the Commune People's Committee can contact and resolve the matter according to regulations.
According to the People's Committee of Hat Mon commune, within 7 consecutive days from the date of issuance of the notice, if there is no information about the biological father and mother of the two children, the People's Committee of Hat Mon commune will carry out relevant procedures for the two children according to the provisions of law.
