Ensuring food security in Lam Dong

In recent years, the implementation of Conclusion No. 81-KL/TW dated July 29, 2020 of the Politburo on ensuring national food security by 2030 has brought about clear changes to the agricultural sector, contributing to ensuring food security and socio-economic stability of Lam Dong province.

Agricultural production plays a supporting role in the economy , shifting in depth, improving product quality and value, economic efficiency associated with environmental protection. Concentrated commodity production areas have been formed, expanding production scale and shifting towards export production.

The area applying safety standards is constantly expanding. Rice production focuses on stabilizing the region, enhancing the conversion of high-quality varieties, investing in intensive farming to increase productivity and quality, and increasing the number of crops.

High-tech agriculture , smart agriculture, safe and ecological agriculture continue to be invested in and strengthened. The cultivation sector has played a pivotal role, ensuring output, productivity and food security of the province; helping to overcome difficulties caused by climate change, epidemics and market fluctuations; ensuring local food security, playing an important role in supplying products to the region.

It is estimated that by 2025, rice output sold to markets outside the province will reach about 367,320 tons/year; vegetable and fruit output will reach about 4 million tons/year...

Organizing the search and collection of martyrs' remains in Cambodia

The Steering Committee 515 of Gia Lai province has just held a departure ceremony, assigning the task to Team K52 (under the Provincial Military Command, specializing in collecting martyrs' remains in Cambodia) to search for and collect the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Cambodia, dry season 2025-2026.

From the beginning of June 2025 until now, Team K52 has proactively overcome difficulties, isolated and identified key areas, organized propaganda, surveyed, and found 28 pieces of information in 254 villages/47 communes and wards in 13 districts and three cities of three northeastern provinces of Cambodia (Ratanakiri, Stungtreng and Preah Vihear).

In his speech assigning the task, Colonel Nguyen The Vinh, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, praised the spirit and results of Team K52 in the past time. He requested: The team to continue to do a good job in preparation, promptly propose and resolve any problems that arise while waiting to carry out the task in a friendly country; continue to strengthen training and improve skills in professional work.

During the search and gathering process, officers and soldiers of Team K52 must be united and determined to overcome all difficulties and hardships; strictly comply with the regimes, policies, regulations and discipline of the army; do well in mass mobilization and international diplomacy, contributing to strengthening the special relationship, solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Hai Phong City supports Dak Lak with 40 billion VND to overcome natural disasters

Hai Phong City People's Committee supports Dak Lak province with 40 billion VND to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

A working delegation of the People's Committee of Hai Phong city recently visited and worked with the leaders of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province on supporting flood relief.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung sent his condolences and encouragement to the government and people of Dak Lak province, which were severely affected by storm No. 13 and the recent floods. Hai Phong City People's Committee supported Dak Lak province with 40 billion VND and many medical supplies, water filtration systems, and medical staff to help Dak Lak province quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods.

On behalf of the leaders of Dak Lak province, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan thanked Hai Phong city for its support to the province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. The province will use the city's support for the right purpose and effectively to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters and help people rebuild their lives.

Lam Dong has 80/103 communes meeting new rural standards.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that the total investment capital to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in the whole province in 2025 is more than 939.5 billion VND; of which, the investment capital is nearly 695 billion VND, the rest is public capital; the disbursement result by October 2025 reached 43.3% of the plan, the estimated disbursement for the whole year is 84.8%. To date, the whole province has 80/103 communes meeting new rural standards, reaching 77.7%; three advanced new rural communes and one model new rural commune.

In recent times, the sustainable poverty reduction program has continued to integrate programs and projects, build poverty reduction models; implement poverty reduction policies for poor, near-poor and newly escaped poverty households according to regulations; the total investment capital implemented in 2025 is more than 265 billion VND. The socio-economic development program for ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Lam Dong province, period 2021-2030 is guaranteed according to plan; the total public investment capital allocated in 2025 is more than 1,206 billion VND, by October 2025, the disbursement reached 27.5%.
