Commencement of construction of Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway interchange, connecting Ca Na Port

On August 20, at Km113 of the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway project, Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) started construction of package 16 - construction of Phuoc Ha intersection connecting with provincial road 709.

Phuoc Ha Intersection connecting with Provincial Road 709 has a total cost of more than 125 billion VND (including site clearance costs) including 4 connecting branches, with overpasses and expressways running underneath; the scale of the connecting branches with 8m wide roadbed, 6m wide road surface. This item also includes the addition of drainage systems, traffic safety signs, lighting and electronic toll collection system (ETC). The bid package is implemented by the Joint Venture of Dong Thuan Ha Company Limited and Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company.

According to the plan, the project will be constructed in 120 days and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. This is an important traffic project, not only ensuring smooth connection between the expressway and local roads but also facilitating the transportation of goods to Ca Na seaport (of which the 10.14km section from the expressway to National Highway 1 has been open to traffic since May 2025), creating a modern, interconnected traffic axis; contributing to promoting the development of the southern key economic region of the province.
