239 delegates attended the 1st Congress of Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee

HNP - On the afternoon of August 21, the Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee held a preparatory session for the 1st Party Congress of the Ward for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the preparatory session were 239 delegates representing 66 grassroots party organizations and 4,865 party members in the entire Ward Party Committee.

Speaking at the opening session of the Congress, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Quang Trung said that, implementing the direction of the City Party Committee, the Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee has issued a plan to organize the Congress of the Party Committee and Party Cell after the merger, consolidation, transfer, and new establishment in Vinh Tuy Ward for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 1st Congress of Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On that basis, the Ward Party Committee has organized extensive dissemination, actively implemented and soon completed the Congresses of Party Committees and Party cells under the grassroots Party Committees according to the set schedule. By July 30, 100% of Party Committees, grassroots Party cells, and Party cells under the grassroots Party Committees had successfully organized Congresses and conferences to discuss and contribute opinions to the documents of the Party Congresses at all levels.

Along with that, all work related to organizing the 1st Ward Party Congress was carried out seriously, methodically, and effectively in accordance with the principles of the Party Charter, regulations, and instructions of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee.

According to comrade Nguyen Quang Trung, the 1st Congress of Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee is a political event of great significance to the entire Party Committee and people of the ward, taking place at a time when cadres, party members and people of the capital and Vinh Tuy Ward are actively competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, welcoming Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In order for the preparatory session to achieve the best results, in accordance with regulations, ensuring the success of the Congress, comrade Nguyen Quang Trung requested delegates, with a sense of responsibility before the Party Committee and people of Vinh Tuy ward, to promote collective intelligence, solidarity, unity, and improve the quality of discussions on documents of the Central, City and ward.

The Secretary of the Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee also asked delegates to deeply analyze the causes of the limitations and shortcomings that have been pointed out in the draft Political Report, especially clarifying subjective causes. Thereby, correctly identifying key tasks, work programs, priority areas, along with key targets and solutions to build and develop Vinh Tuy Ward in the period of 2025-2030, with a vision to 2045.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected the executive body and supporting bodies of the Congress, including: the Presidium, the Secretariat and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board. The Congress discussed and approved the Congress agenda, the Working Regulations and some contents to be noted at the Congress. At the same time, it agreed to assign delegation groups to contribute comments to the draft Political Report of the 18th City Party Congress and documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress.

The Congress held meetings of the Presidium, Secretariat, Delegate Qualification Examination Board and Delegate Groups to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Congress program and content; at the same time, discuss in groups and continue to contribute opinions to the draft documents of higher levels.
