According to the Binh Thuan Provincial Project Management and Construction Board, three transportation projects were started in January 2024: the upgrading and expansion of the Ba Ta – Tra Tan road; the upgrading and expansion of the Phu Hoi – Cam Hang – Song Quao road; and the road to Phan Thiet airport (phase 2).
The project to upgrade and expand the Ba Ta – Tra Tan road in Tanh Linh district has a length of 15.1km, a roadbed width of 7.5m, and a road surface width of 6.5m (including reinforced shoulders). The road surface is asphalt concrete, and the shoulders are earth embankment.

Total investment is VND 102.165 billion, from the provincial budget, implementation period 2023-2024. The Truong Long - Hoa Binh consortium won the bid with a price of VND 84.4 billion, contract execution time 730 days. For the project to upgrade and expand the Phu Hoi – Cam Hang – Song Quao road (section from Km20+000 to Km31+000), Ham Thuan Bac district, the route is approximately 11km long, with a roadbed width of 6.5m, a road surface width of 5.5m, and a shoulder width of 0.5m on each side, with a cement concrete pavement structure. Investment in drainage system and traffic safety system. Total investment is VND 49.4 billion, from the provincial budget. The project will be implemented over the final three years of the 2021-2025 period and will transition to the 2026-2030 period. The consortium of contractors, Sinh Hoa Construction Co., Ltd. and Doan Ly Construction Co., Ltd., won the bid with a price of VND 39.3 billion and a contract execution time of 540 days. Specifically, the Phan Thiet Airport Access Road (Phase 2) project in Phan Thiet City has a length of 3,632m, starting at the intersection with Vo Nguyen Giap road at Km7+700. The end point is the entrance to the civil aviation area in Thien Nghiep commune, Phan Thiet City; the roadbed width is 36m, the road surface width is 13.5m, the median strip width is 12.5m, and the sidewalk width on each side is 5m. The road surface structure is asphalt concrete on a crushed stone base; the sidewalks are paved with tiles; and the drainage system, landscaping, lighting, and fire water supply are all designed to ensure traffic safety.
