30,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City join Olympic Running Day

On the morning of March 24, the Ho Chi Minh City Olympic Running Day program was organized synchronously throughout the city, attracting more than 30,000 people from 23 districts and Thu Duc City to participate in the run for the health of the whole people.
At the intersection of Le Duan - Pasteur (right at 30/4 Park, District 1), the Department of Culture & Sports of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with related units to organize the event "Olympic Running Day - For the health of the people 2024" for all ages to participate. The program was organized grandly with a performance by 500 Vovinam martial artists to start the activities.
Immediately after that, the athletes entered the starting line to prepare to run. The athletes started at 30/4 Park (Le Duan) - Le Duan - turn right at Cong Xa Paris - Dong Khoi - Ton Duc Thang - turn right at Nguyen Hue (end of Nguyen Hue roundabout) - turn right at Ton Duc Thang - Ham Nghi - turn right at Quach Thi Trang roundabout - Le Loi - Pasteur - Finished at Le Duan street.
At this program in District 1, the race attracted the participation of about 5,000 athletes from departments, branches, organizations, armed forces, students, and youth of the city.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture & Sports of Ho Chi Minh City completed the 1.5km run.
Ms. Tran Mai Thuy Hong - Deputy Head of Sports Management Department of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, said that in addition to the program organized by the Department, 23 districts and Thu Duc City simultaneously launched the Olympic Running Day with a total of more than 30,000 people.

The young girls, who are also little roller skaters, reached the finish line at full speed with beautiful moves.
