30,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the Olympic Run Day.

On the morning of March 24th, the Ho Chi Minh City Olympic Run Day program was held simultaneously across the city, attracting more than 30,000 people from 23 districts and Thu Duc City to participate in the run for the health of the entire population.
At the intersection of Le Duan and Pasteur streets (right next to 30/4 Park, District 1), the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, in coordination with relevant units, organized the "Olympic Run - For the Health of All People 2024" event for all ages to participate in. The program was grandly organized, starting with a mass performance by 500 Vovinam martial arts practitioners.
Immediately afterwards, the athletes walked to the starting line to prepare for the race. The athletes started from 30/4 Park (Le Duan Street) - Le Duan Street - turn right onto Cong Xa Paris Street - Dong Khoi Street - Ton Duc Thang Street - turn right onto Nguyen Hue Street (end of Nguyen Hue Street loop) - turn right onto Ton Duc Thang Street - Ham Nghi Street - turn right at Quach Thi Trang roundabout - Le Loi Street - Pasteur Street - Finish line on Le Duan Street.
At this event in District 1, the race attracted the participation of approximately 5,000 athletes from departments, agencies and organizations, armed forces, students, and young people of Ho Chi Minh City.
Participating in the Olympic Run Day not only helps you improve your health, fitness, and physique, but it also contributes to building a healthy lifestyle and cultural environment for the city, spreading the dynamic image of Ho Chi Minh City throughout the country.
The younger generation in Ho Chi Minh City is dynamic and healthy thanks to regular sports training.
The children participating in the race were equipped with professional protective gear, just like roller skaters.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, completed the 1.5km race.
Ms. Tran Mai Thuy Hong, Deputy Head of the Sports Management Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, said that in addition to the program organized by the Department, 23 districts and Thu Duc City simultaneously launched the Olympic Run Day with a total of more than 30,000 participants.
World and SEA Games champion Pham Thi Kieu Giang in Vovinam strives on the track to reach the finish line.
The young children, who were also junior roller skaters, crossed the finish line at full speed with graceful movements.
Alongside their participation in the race, they are also business partners, contributing to the economic development of Ho Chi Minh City.
Doan Viet Dai Tu is a French businessman of Vietnamese descent. Dai Tu is the name of his ancestral village in Hanoi. He was born in France to a Vietnamese father and a French mother, but he speaks Vietnamese very well.
