Mr. Duong Van Phong, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Campaign chaired the conference.
The campaign was launched according to Plan No. 217-KH/TU dated December 26, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee and Official Dispatch No. 15/UBND-VXNV dated January 2, 2024 of the Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee. On that basis, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association issued Plan No. 08/KH-VN dated April 5, 2024, widely deployed among local artists.
After nearly a year of launching, by the time of closing the list (March 5, 2025), the Organizing Committee had received 336 entries in many genres, including 204 photography works, 101 poems, 15 songs, 08 short stories and 08 memoirs.
The Jury, consisting of prestigious artists from Central professional associations, selected 24 outstanding works to award prizes, including: 01 A Prize, 05 B Prizes, 09 C Prizes and 09 Encouragement Prizes.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee highly appreciated the coordinating role of the standing agency; acknowledged the professional quality of the Jury; and discussed and gave opinions on the certificate form and the campaign summary program.
The closing and award ceremony is expected to take place at 2:00 p.m. on April 24, 2025 at the Bac Kan Provincial Cultural House, combined with the opening ceremony of the 2nd Fine Arts Exhibition "Indigo at the Source of the Cau River"./.
