Special art program 'Source of glory' at ATK Dinh Hoa

Attending the Program were comrades: General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense ; General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Party Central Committee member, Standing member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), Deputy Minister of National Defense.

Also attending were leaders and former leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; representatives of general departments and units under the Ministry of National Defense; and leaders of Tuyen Quang province.

The leaders of Thai Nguyen province attended the event with comrades: Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of agencies, departments, localities, and a large number of cadres, soldiers and people of all ethnic groups in the ATK region.

The art program “Source of Glory” consists of 3 chapters: “Origin - Imprint - Reaching Out”, elaborately staged, combining traditional and modern performing arts. Through lyrics, dances, images and sounds, the program vividly recreates the 80-year journey of formation, fighting and growth of the General Staff - the strategic headquarters of the Vietnam People's Army.

The special highlight of the Program was the low-altitude fireworks display, which ended the impressive night of art, lighting up the sacred ATK sky - the revolutionary base, where many historic decisions of the Party and the Army were born. The sound of fireworks echoed through the mountains and forests as a tribute to generations of officers and soldiers of the General Staff who heroically fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

Not only is it an opportunity to review the glorious tradition of the armed forces, the program "Source of Glory" also contributes to educating patriotism and revolutionary spirit for the young generation; arousing the will of self-reliance and determination to build a regular, elite and modern Vietnam People's Army in the new era.
