Thematic exhibition "Socio-economic achievements of Lao Cai province in the period 2020 - 2025" to welcome the 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030

On the morning of September 27, at the Provincial Museum (facility 1), the Department of Home Affairs coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province to organize the opening of the thematic exhibition "Socio-economic achievements of Lao Cai province in the period 2020 - 2025" and "Imprints of the separation and merger of Lao Cai province through archival documents". The event took place to celebrate the 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the event were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Culture , Sports and Tourism, Lao Cai Provincial Newspaper, Radio and Television.

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the thematic exhibition.

The exhibition displays 140 documents, images, and artifacts divided into two main spaces: Space displaying socio-economic achievements of Lao Cai province in the period of 2020 - 2025, including: 80 documents, images, and artifacts introducing the outstanding achievements of the new Lao Cai province ( Yen Bai province and the old Lao Cai) in the fields of: economic growth, culture - society, social security, education, health, national defense - security, foreign affairs...; building solidarity among the people of all ethnic groups in Lao Cai province. Thereby affirming the strong, comprehensive transformation, proving the remarkable changes in the material and spiritual life of the people in the province; spreading the image of a new, dynamic, modern, and unique Lao Cai, rising strongly in the process of international integration.

Exhibition space "Imprints of separation and merger of Lao Cai province through archival documents", including: More than 20 documents on the merger and separation of Lao Cai province through the periods, nearly 40 black and white documentary photos of President Ho Chi Minh at the 3rd National Conference in Viet Bac in 1950, the 2nd Party Congress in Viet Bac in 1951; images of General Secretaries of different periods visiting and working in Yen Bai province (old) and Hoang Lien Son province... clearly depicting the special historical journey, reflecting the changes in administrative organization, while honoring the leadership mark of the Party and Uncle Ho on the development of this land rich in revolutionary tradition.

Also on the morning of September 27, at the Provincial Museum (facility 2), the Exhibition displayed nearly 150 documentary photos, artifacts and 200 books on the history of the Party Committee and the Lao Cai Provincial Government system through the periods; Party documents; documents on history, culture and introducing the beauty of the natural landscape and people of Lao Cai in the process of development and integration. The exhibition is a political and cultural activity of special significance, aiming to honor the great achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Lao Cai province have achieved in the past 5 years; at the same time affirming the belief, aspiration and determination on the journey into the new era.

Many students came to visit the exhibition.

The exhibition takes place from September 27 to October 1, at both facilities of the Provincial Museum: Facility 1 in Yen Bai ward, Facility 2 in Cam Duong ward, Lao Cai province.
