Military and police universities
During their studies, students also enjoy special policies that not all schools can provide, such as full support from tuition fees to living expenses.
Military and police universities are managed by the State, so after completing the program, students will be assigned tasks and appointed to work.

Pedagogical universities
Students of pedagogical schools are also exempted from tuition fees because these schools are classified as key national educational institutions.
Students studying pedagogy at teacher training colleges will be exempted from tuition fees, receive monthly allowances and scholarships. For non-pedagogical majors, tuition fees will correspond to the number of credits that students register for.

Note, according to Decree 116/2020/ND-CP, pedagogical students who have enjoyed the policy of not working in the education sector after 2 years or not working for 2 full years, from the date of the decision to recognize graduation, will have to reimburse the tuition and living expenses support fund.
In addition, according to Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP of the Government, students in the following majors/specializations will be exempted from 100% of tuition fees: Marxism-Leninism; Ho Chi Minh Thought; Tuberculosis; Leprosy; Psychiatry; Forensic examination; Forensic psychiatry; Pathology, Infectious Diseases; Emergency resuscitation... at public health human resource training facilities according to State-ordered quotas.
