On the morning of July 25, nearly 500 officers and soldiers of the armed forces including Regiment 335 (Division 324), Regiment 764 (Nghe An Provincial Military Command), agencies of the Provincial Military Command and officers and soldiers of the Regional Defense, the Command of the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard; local militia and self-defense forces were present at heavily affected areas to coordinate with local authorities and functional forces to clean up mud, collect garbage, clear sewers and clean the environment around residential areas, schools, medical stations, etc.
Inter-village, inter-commune, block and hamlet roads buried by rocks and mud are also being cleared...

Colonel Tran Manh Quan, Deputy Commander of Division 324, said: "With the spirit of "Where the water recedes, help the people there", "No one is left behind", the division determined that this is an especially important task in peacetime and we are determined at the highest level to quickly help people overcome the consequences of storms and floods and stabilize their lives".
In the immediate future, the army is working hard to clear mud and soil, support dozens of deeply flooded families to clean up, sanitize household items, houses, etc. Inter-village, block, and hamlet roads have been temporarily cleared, helping people travel more conveniently.

According to statistics up to July 25, after the circulation of storm No. 3, in Nghe An province, 122 houses collapsed, 938 houses were damaged and had their roofs blown off, 1 school, and 1,892 houses were flooded.
There were 16 flooded spots on National Highway 7 and roads passing through the communes of Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Muong Xen...; 49 landslide spots in Thong Thu, Tri Le, Nhon Mai, My Ly communes with a volume of more than 8,000m3 ; floods also damaged 2,411ha of crops and broke 293ha of forest trees.
Currently, 8 communes in Nghe An province are still isolated.

Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, said that the military region and its units have organized many working groups to directly inspect and direct the overcoming of flood consequences; coordinated with the Air Defense - Air Force Service and Army Corps 18 to transport 10 trips with more than 30 tons of relief goods to help people in the communes of Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, My Ly, Nhon Mai, Muong Tip, Bac Ly, and Luong Minh.
On July 25 alone, because the roads to flooded areas such as Muong Tip, Bac Ly, Tuong Duong, and Luong Minh were not yet open, two helicopters made four flights, transporting more than 12 tons of relief goods to these areas.
Military Region 4 mobilized nearly 3,000 officers and soldiers, nearly 200 vehicles, boats and boats of all kinds to help Nghe An people respond to and overcome the consequences of the storm.

“Given the complicated weather situation, the forces continue to be on standby, ready to respond to any arising situations, while coordinating with local authorities to count the damage, support people in repairing houses, cleaning the environment, restoring production…”, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, said.
