40 households in Dien Bien Phu City are ready to welcome tourists during the peak season.

Forty households in Nam Thanh and Him Lam wards, and Thanh Minh and Pa Khoang communes have registered, offering a total of 160 rooms/bedrooms, along with several stilt houses, capable of accommodating hundreds of people. These households have vacant houses or empty rooms, fully furnished with necessary amenities, ensuring safety and providing accommodation for tourists visiting Dien Bien .

Many households are not only willing to accommodate guests but also provide food and drinks if requested. Some families even specify during registration that they will not charge a fee for a group of veterans.

Forecasts indicate a significant increase in the number of visitors to Dien Bien Phu during upcoming peak seasons. However, the province's accommodation facilities remain limited and insufficient to accommodate all tourists.

Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee and the Dien Bien Phu City People's Committee are promoting and encouraging households in the area to be ready to support accommodation for tourists. Communes and wards will continue to inspect, review, and compile a list of households that have the conditions and needs to host and serve tourists with food or lodging. From this, the city will compile, support, and allocate tourists appropriately, ensuring that all tourists have safe and friendly places to eat and stay.
