This is a tournament in the national competition system, organized by Thieu Nien Tien Phong and Nhi Dong newspapers in coordination with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

The National U13 Tournament - Yamaha Cup 2025 is the cradle of development of many national players such as Hoang Duc, Duc Chien, Nham Manh Dung or Do Duy Manh.

A notable new feature of the 2025 season is the opportunity for outstanding players and outstanding coaches in the final round to go to Japan to study and train at Jubilo Iwata Club.

The qualifying round will take place from June 2 to 22 in three regions: Hai Phong, Dak Lak and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The final round, gathering the 16 best teams, will be held in Binh Duong from July 1 to 15.

In the 28-year history of the tournament, SLNA is still the most successful team with 11 championships, followed by The Cong Viettel and PVF, each with 3 championships.
