5 key activities in workers' month 2024

In Workers' Month 2024 with the theme: "Worker solidarity - Resolution implementation", Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union at all levels continues to organize effective activities, and simultaneously organizes a number of key and focal activities in Workers' Month 2024.

The first is the program "Bringing the congress resolution into life"; "May dialogue"; "Thanking workers"... The Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union continues to organize propaganda, dissemination, study and implementation of the resolutions of the Congress of Trade Unions at all levels, the Resolution of the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028, in conjunction with propaganda and dissemination of new policies and laws related to the rights of union members and workers. Propose and coordinate to organize for leaders of Party committees, authorities, professionals, and employers at all levels to meet and dialogue with union members and workers according to Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation" in accordance with the actual conditions of each agency, unit, and enterprise. Organizing the "Thank you to workers" program, trade unions at all levels arrange trade union financial resources, mobilize social resources and employers to organize gratitude to union members and workers with achievements in work, production, and contributions to agencies, units, and enterprises; visit, give gifts, and provide support to workers in difficulty.

Second is to organize the "Peak month for developing union members and establishing grassroots unions". Unions at all levels under the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union promote propaganda, mobilization, and persuasion of workers to raise awareness and voluntarily join the union. Review and introduce outstanding union members for the Party Committee to train and consider admitting them into the Communist Party of Vietnam .

Third, implement activities to honor union members and workers. Organize to honor union members and exemplary workers with many initiatives, creativity, and achievements in research, study, work, and production. Implement the political activity "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style on workers and trade unions"; commend advanced models of studying and following Uncle Ho; replicate the model of "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space". Advise delegations of leaders of agencies, units, and trade unions to visit, give gifts, and congratulate workers on the occasion of Workers' Month 2024.

The fourth activity is the program "Healthy for work and production". Trade unions at all levels coordinate with leaders of agencies, units, and enterprises to organize cultural, artistic, physical education, and sports activities associated with the Launching Ceremony, responding to Workers' Month - Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2024 and celebrating the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day on May 1. Launching the "Running Competition for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers"...

Regarding propaganda activities, the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union will widely propagate and disseminate among union members and workers the Resolution and Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union and the resolutions and thematic programs to implement the resolutions of the trade union congresses at all levels...
