All 6 students won medals at the Asian Informatics Olympiad.

The 2023 Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad was held online with 1,471 contestants from 36 countries and territories participating (including Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, who were invited but not considered for awards). China was the host country.

The Vietnamese national team, consisting of 15 contestants, competed online at the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi on May 20, 2023. According to the regulations of the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad organizing committee, Vietnam selected the 6 contestants with the highest scores to be considered for awards.

According to information from China regarding the results of the 2023 Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad for the Vietnamese national team, all 6/6 participating contestants won medals.

At the 2023 Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad, 95 contestants won awards. Based on the medal ranking, Vietnam ranked 9th.

This result affirms the quality of general education and the correct direction in the work of identifying, selecting, and nurturing gifted students by the Ministry of Education and Training. It also demonstrates the efforts and endeavors of students, teachers, schools, and the education sector in teaching well and learning well.
