In the first 6 months of the year, Que Son District Party Committee focused on leading and directing the implementation of goals and tasks in all fields, achieving important results.

Regarding agriculture , the output of grain crops in the 2023-2024 winter-spring crop is expected to reach 24,400 tons, up 4.8% over the previous crop. The disease situation in livestock is under control, with no new outbreaks currently occurring. To date, Que Son has 9/11 communes meeting new rural standards, and 18 villages recognized as model new rural villages.

The total value of industrial and handicraft production is estimated at VND 2,374 billion, up 8.2% over the same period in 2023. Trade and service activities remain stable; the old Dong Phu market has been relocated to the new Dong Phu market area.

As of June 17, 2024, the total state budget revenue in the district reached more than 669.2 billion VND, equal to 82% of the plan assigned by the province and 80% of the plan assigned by the District People's Council; of which, economic revenue reached more than 70.2 billion VND.

In the first 6 months of the year, Que Son admitted 54 new party members, reaching 62% of the target assigned by the province. Up to now, the entire district Party Committee has 53 grassroots party organizations with 3,766 party members.
