In 2025, the University of Economics (UEB), Vietnam National University , Hanoi will enroll 6 majors with 9 training programs. Of which, 2,500 full-time university students will be trained domestically and 500 full-time university students will be trained in cooperation with foreign countries.
The school uses 6 main admission methods. Of which, with method 100 - considering high school graduation exam results, considering 8 combinations, including A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), D09 (math, history, English), D10 (math, geography, English), C01 (math, literature, physics), C03 (math, literature, history), C04 (math, literature, geography), X01 (math, literature, economic and legaleducation ).
For candidates applying for international English certificates combined with high school graduation exam results in 2025, the school requires candidates to have an IELTS certificate of 5.5 or higher or a TOEFL iBT certificate of 72 or higher.
Candidates will use the converted score from the international English certificate combined with the remaining 2 subjects in the high school graduation exam (except English) in 4 admission groups (D01, A01, D09, D10).
Method 410 - admission combined with transcripts and international certificates, the school requires considering transcripts of 6 semesters of the remaining 2 subjects (except English) belonging to 4 admission groups (D01, A01, D09, D10).
In addition to the requirement of having an IELTS certificate of 5.5 or higher or a TOEFL iBT of 72 or higher, candidates need to achieve a minimum score of 8 points in math in the high school graduation exam or a minimum score of 15 points in 2 subjects (math, literature) in the high school graduation exam.

The remaining four methods include considering the competency assessment test scores organized by Hanoi National University (method 402); direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (method 301); admission to business administration for sports talents (method 501); admission to pre-university and international students (method 502).
For candidates applying for university preparatory admission, the school requires the 2024 high school graduation exam results (of 1 of the 4 admission groups A01, D01, D09, D10) to achieve 23.5 points or higher.
At the same time, the average result of all core subjects in the university preparatory program is 7.0 or higher (including 7.0 for math, literature, and English); the results of the entire year of university preparatory training are good.

The University of Economics also announced the expected tuition fees applicable to the 2025 enrollment period.
For domestic full-time university students, the tuition fee is expected to be around 48 million VND/first year; each year thereafter it will increase by 2 million VND (the final year is around 52 million VND/year). Compared to last year's enrollment, the tuition fee has increased by around 2 million VND/year.
For full-time university students majoring in business administration for sports talents, the estimated tuition fee is 126 million VND/student/course, an increase of about 28 million VND compared to last year's enrollment.
For the business administration program in cooperation with foreign training, the full course tuition ranges from 362 - 369 million VND/student (not including scholarships).
