85 H'Mong ethnic families in Dien Bien are using the national grid electricity.

This is an important event for the ethnic people of Nam Chan I and Po Mu villages because right after the transformer station energization ceremony, 85 H'Mong ethnic families in the two villages will officially be able to use electricity from the national grid. This event marks an important milestone when Muong Ang district completes the entire package No. 1 of construction and equipment installation in Muong Dang and Ngoi Cay communes.

Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do kindly advised the people of Nam Chan 1 village, Po Mu to use electricity effectively in production to develop family economy .

Delighted to witness the joy and happiness of the H'Mong people in the two villages of Nam Chan I and Po Mu when they received the national electricity after many years of waiting, comrade Le Thanh Do, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province, hoped that the people of the two villages would continue to promote solidarity and trust; effectively use electricity to develop family economy, contributing to building their homeland and villages to become increasingly rich and beautiful.

With the cadres, civil servants of Muong Ang district and the construction units, comrade Le Thanh Do praised the sense of responsibility and efforts to overcome difficulties to construct the project.

Comrade Le Thanh Do emphasized: Despite the difficult terrain, mainly high mountains, after more than 6 months of construction (since the start date of December 11, 2024), the entire package No. 1 has been completed with a scale of 16.2km of medium voltage lines; 10.3km of low voltage lines, 4 transformer stations. This result is a testament to the initiative and determination of the Party Committee and the government of Muong Ang district; the participation of the entire political system and the consensus and support of the people have focused on implementing the project to ensure quality, ahead of schedule, bringing electricity to serve the lives, production and activities of the people.

Comrade Le Thanh Do, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, rejoiced with the people of Nam Chan I village when welcoming the national grid electricity to the village.

The rural electricity supply project from the national grid under the "Light Up Dien Bien" Program was proposed by Dien Bien province and approved by the Prime Minister to launch and announce before the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; the total investment of the entire project is more than 1,519 billion VND, an important resource of the Party and State for the people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province, including the people of Muong Ang district.

The completion of additional component projects has gradually met the needs and aspirations of the people with the desire to use electricity, making life and production more convenient, helping people have conditions to rise up.
