The exhibition, organized by Nhau Studio in collaboration with the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám Cultural and Scientific Activities Center and the International Watercolor Association in Vietnam - Northern Branch, will run from May 27th to June 30th, 2026.

According to Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám Cultural and Scientific Activities Center: Continuing the journey of the "Scholars" exhibition series, this year, the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám Cultural and Scientific Activities Center is once again delighted to welcome back the third season of "Scholars - Stories of Scholars".
"We hope this year's event will contribute to amplifying and spreading the spirit of learning in society, and moreover, with the display of 950 learning stories, a vivid picture of the spirit of learning, learning experiences from school and life, serving as motivation for students to strive for success."

"The exhibition aims to commemorate the 950th anniversary of the founding of the Imperial Academy, making the Temple of Literature - Imperial Academy increasingly familiar and an unmissable destination for those who love Hanoi ," said Mr. Le Xuan Kieu.
Speaking on behalf of the organizing unit, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh - co-founder of Nhau Studio - said: "2026 marks the return of the third season of 'Students' - a new version. Taking the number 950 as a milestone towards the 950th anniversary of the founding of Quoc Tu Giam - the first national school, the project will showcase 950 learning stories from individuals of various ages, professions, and regions across Vietnam."
According to Mr. Linh, for students, "learning" is not just a story of youth or school years. It is a lifelong journey – learning from experience, setbacks, work, losses, and even new beginnings.

"Through these 950 stories, the students hope to create a connecting thread between generations: those who came before inspire those who come after, and those who come after continue to support those who follow. So that the spirit of learning and the source of talented individuals of the nation will always be extended and never cease," Mr. Linh added.
The exhibition features over 40 works by 22 artists from the Applied Watercolor and Artistic Anatomy departments of Nhau Studio. Their unique materials and styles demonstrate the openness of young artists' thinking, who seek a connection between form, real life, and contemporary cultural identity.
Visitors to the exhibition were extremely impressed by the "Garden of Scholars," a space rich in Vietnamese cultural elements, using handcrafted and environmentally friendly materials from traditional craft villages such as dó paper, conical hats, and bamboo and rattan lanterns.

These rustic materials are reinterpreted in the spirit of contemporary art installation, creating a garden that is both intimate and richly symbolic. Here, you will find your own stories, your own messages, those of your friends, and find empathy from other students preparing for exams.
Through the "Garden of Scholars," the exhibition aims to connect the spirit of learning with the fundamental values of Vietnamese culture – where scholarship is not separate from life but is nurtured by labor, nature, family, and community.
The exhibition will run until June 30, 2026.
