In early May, the regular meeting of the Party Branch of Ward I - Phao Dai took place seriously and orderly with 100% of party members in attendance. The assessment of the situation and the implementation of tasks were discussed democratically and frankly. Many opinions focused on practical issues such as environmental sanitation, health insurance, building a cultural life, ensuring security and order, and beautifying the alleyways. When discussing solutions for beautifying the residential area, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, a party member of the Party Branch of Ward I - Phao Dai, suggested promoting the role of self-governing groups and assigning party members to be responsible for each area to promptly understand, report, and resolve people's living issues.
The Party cell of Ward I - Phao Dai currently has 34 members, mostly retired officials and ward officials. Over the years, the Party cell has always focused on building unity and cohesion within the organization, promoting the exemplary role of each member. Each person is assigned specific tasks, linking responsibility to the residential area, thereby proactively getting closer to the people, understanding their thoughts and aspirations in a timely manner. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Yen, a Party member of the Ward I - Phao Dai Party cell, said: “Each Party member enhances their sense of responsibility, proactively gets closer to the people, and understands the situation in the residential area to promptly report to the Party cell. This close bond and unity has helped many local movements receive positive responses from the people.”
Not only maintaining good order and discipline, the Party members in the Party Branch of Ward I - Phao Dai also play a pioneering and exemplary role in emulation movements, becoming a bridge between the Party and the people. From mobilizing people to adopt a civilized urban lifestyle and maintain environmental hygiene to participating in community activities, each Party member actively propagates and mobilizes through concrete actions. The ward has achieved the title of "Cultural Ward" for five consecutive years, with the percentage of cultural households reaching 96% or higher. Ms. Le Thi Nam, residing in Group 3, Ward I - Phao Dai, shared: "Thanks to the mobilization of Party members, people are more aware of maintaining environmental hygiene and complying with general regulations. The ward is becoming cleaner and more beautiful, security and order are becoming more stable, and people feel more secure."
To date, the neighborhood no longer has any households classified as poor according to the multidimensional poverty standard. All arising issues are resolved promptly at the grassroots level, preventing the formation of hotspots. Ms. Tran Ngoc Quyen, Head of the Party Building Committee of the Ha Tien Ward Party Committee, assessed: “The Party cell of neighborhood I - Phao Dai is one of the exemplary Party cells of the ward Party Committee. The Party cell maintains good organizational discipline, promotes its role as a political nucleus at the grassroots level, and effectively leads the implementation of assigned tasks. The spirit of unity, responsibility, and exemplary conduct of the Party members is a crucial factor in achieving outstanding performance for five consecutive years.”
Through well-organized activities and the sense of responsibility of each party member, the Party Branch of Ward I - Phao Dai has made its mark with five consecutive years of outstanding performance, contributing to the development of the residential area and maintaining peace in the border region. Mr. Vo Thanh Ngo, Secretary of the Party Branch of Ward I - Phao Dai, shared: “The results achieved are thanks to the unity and solidarity of the entire group. Each party member is clearly aware of their responsibility, thus creating a collective strength. The Party Branch will continue to focus on building a team of exemplary and responsible party members; strengthening propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage people to participate in patriotic emulation movements, maintaining security and order, and building a civilized urban lifestyle.”
