Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung said that 20 years ago, when he was the administrator of the first Photography forum in Vietnam, photo.com.vn, he used his phone to take pictures of beautiful landscapes in Vietnam.
In 2018, he continued his journey by motorbike to the seaports of Vietnam not to take beautiful photos but to take photos of plastic waste polluting the environment and exhibited them at Hang Bai.
At that time, he had to use his phone to swim in places full of plastic waste, sensitive places where many people did not allow him to take pictures with a big camera because they were afraid that journalists would come to work.
From his phone, he was able to take "sensitive" photos like throwing trash into the ocean.
When Samsung and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism organized the contest "Galaxy AI Understands Vietnamese, Honoring Vietnamese Tourism", Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung participated and is currently the one inspiring the promotion of Vietnamese tourism.
On June 18, 2025, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Samsung Vietnam honored outstanding individuals who won prizes in the content creation contest "Galaxy AI Understands Vietnamese, Honoring Vietnamese Tourism". This is an activity within the 2025 tourism stimulus program "Vietnam - Travel to Love" launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The competition has brought together a large wave of influential figures, from Miss H'Hen Niê with impressive footage of her journey "Sustainably Downstream", to Amandine " Discovering the Origin", along with hundreds of other content creators, traveling across provinces and cities to explore and introduce the beautiful landscapes and rich culture of Vietnam.
The impressive series of short videos, highlighting the majestic and poetic beauty of nature, has been widely circulated, while contributing to raising awareness of environmental protection.
Thanks to the power of Galaxy AI on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, these influencers and young creators have easily created, edited and shared unique video content that celebrates the beauty of their homeland, thereby not only strongly contributing to promoting Vietnamese tourism but also deeply conveying important messages about environmental protection.
The highlight of this activity is "A night of becoming a scholar at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam". This is not only a simple historical experience event but also a unique journey, where participants and the Galaxy S25 Ultra recreate the five stages of "self-cultivation and career building" of ancient scholars.
Thanks to the ability to understand Vietnamese developed and optimized by a team of Vietnamese engineers, Galaxy AI has become a smart "handbook", directly leading participants to explore Vietnamese history and knowledge in a lively and attractive way.
The final prize in the video category went to author Ton Thi Tinh, the final prize in the image category went to author Dinh Nhu Chien and the inspiration prize went to author Nguyen Viet Hung.
Mr. Hoang Quoc Hoa, Director of the Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said: “Through this contest, we have witnessed a young generation full of creativity and passion. With eyes to admire, hearts to feel and the support of Samsung's Vietnamese-speaking AI technology, they have created images, films, and inspiring stories that evoke love for their homeland and country, urging travelers to pack their backpacks and embark on exciting travel journeys.”
