Join hands and determination to build Son Duong commune to develop comprehensively

Attending the congress were leaders from several provincial departments and agencies; former leaders of the province and Son Duong district (old); leaders of communes in the province; and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Tinh Thi Loc.

Son Duong commune was formed by merging Hop Thanh, Phuc Ung, Tu Thinh communes and Son Duong town, covering an area of 123 km2, with a population of over 40,000 people, comprising 76 villages and 13 ethnic groups living together.

During the 2020-2025 term, with strong political determination, the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the commune united as one, striving to overcome difficulties and successfully implementing the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress, achieving comprehensive progress in all fields.

Party building and the political system have been comprehensively strengthened; political and ideological education, as well as education on ethics and lifestyle, have been implemented regularly, seriously, and effectively; and the quality of Party branch meetings and Party members has been continuously improved.

The economy experienced significant growth, with per capita income exceeding the targets set in the resolution for the 2020-2025 term; the Phuc Ung 1 industrial cluster developed well, attracting 13 investment projects with an occupancy rate of over 96%. Rural and urban infrastructure continued to be invested in comprehensively; the construction of communes meeting the standards of new rural areas and civilized urban areas was completed.

The socio-cultural sector has seen many positive developments. Education and training continue to be reformed and improved in quality, achieving many important results. National defense and security are maintained, and the material and spiritual lives of the people are gradually improved...

With the theme: "Enhancing the Party's leadership capacity; the strength of national unity and the aspiration for progress; working together with determination to build Son Duong commune into a comprehensively developed area; steadily advancing in the era of national progress," for the 2025-2030 term, the Son Duong Commune Party Committee has set specific targets for Party building and the political system; economy; culture and society; digital transformation; and the environment. The Party Committee has outlined four key tasks and numerous implementation solutions.

In his directive speech at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha requested that the Party Committee of the commune pay attention to leading and directing the effective implementation of Party building work; innovate the content and methods of Party leadership to ensure it is scientific and comprehensive, in the direction of being close to the people, and continuously improving all aspects of people's lives.

At the same time, continue to comprehensively lead and direct the implementation of the Party's new policies, the State's laws, and the Party's major strategic decisions, especially the resolutions on the "four pillars," and effectively operate the two-tiered local government model; focus on accelerating the digitization of records and data, building a digital government to serve citizens and businesses more effectively; and promote socio-economic development associated with improving the quality of life for the people...
