| Delegates visited a mint bee farm for honey production. |
The training session was attended by representatives from the communes of Dong Van, Sung Mang, Khau Vai, Meo Vac, Son Vi, Lung Cu, Sa Phin, Pho Bang, Yen Minh, Lung Phin, Thang Mo, Duong Thuong, Quan Ba, Tung Vai, Nghia Thuan, and Lung Tam. Also present were representatives from the Provincial Association of Honey Production and Business in the Stone Plateau; and businesses, cooperatives, and beekeeping households in the province.
During the training session, delegates received instruction from staff of the Tropical Bee and Beekeeping Research Center (Vietnam Academy of Agriculture ) on applying organic beekeeping methods to ensure the quality and origin of peppermint honey. They were also guided on the process of harvesting peppermint plants, caring for bee colonies, honey harvesting, beehive beekeeping, and environmental protection using organic methods. In addition, they received updated knowledge on the process of inspecting and tracing the origin of honey.
As part of the training program, delegates visited a demonstration model of organic beekeeping combined with Industry 4.0 technology in Van Chai B village, Yen Minh commune.
The training program is of significant importance in concretizing the province's science and technology tasks, contributing to raising awareness and skills in producing organic peppermint honey. Through the training content, participants can learn about organic beekeeping models, monitor beekeeping activities, and gain practical experience to organize efficient production and ensure the quality of the province's peppermint honey specialty.
