This activity is part of the project “Emergency Support for People in Tuyen Quang to Overcome the Post-Typhoon No. 10 & 11” funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's Humanitarian Assistance Program (AHP-DFAT) through Plan International Vietnam.
Accordingly, Xín Mần commune has a total of 118 households receiving support with a total budget of over 500 million VND. The forms of support include: multi-purpose cash assistance for households with 1-2 members and households with more than 2 members; individual cash assistance and livelihood support for households severely affected by natural disasters.
The cash distribution activity in Xin Man commune is one of the important components of the project, demonstrating the timely concern and support of international organizations and authorities for people in areas severely affected by natural disasters in Tuyen Quang province.
As part of the program, a delegation from Plan International Vietnam conducted a survey and assessment of water supply, sanitation, and safe playgrounds for children at schools in Xin Man commune. The survey results will serve as a basis for proposing practical support activities in the future, contributing to gradually overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and stabilizing the lives and livelihoods of local people.
