Over 280,000 people in Tuyen Quang received free medical examinations and treatment.

In recent times, all levels, sectors and localities in the province have synchronously implemented many activities to take care of people's health, notably the program of free medical examination and treatment for policy beneficiaries, meritorious people, poor households, and ethnic minorities in remote and isolated areas.

Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital, in coordination with the regional general hospital and Quan Ba ​​Medical Center, provided free medical examinations and treatment for residents of Tung Vai commune.

From the beginning of the year to early December 2025, the whole province had 280,326 thousand people receiving free medical examination, treatment, consultation and medicine distribution services at commune health stations, health stations and mobile specialist examination sessions conducted by the health sector in coordination with local organizations and unions.

The medical examination and treatment sessions focus on common diseases such as blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, eye disease, occupational disease, and early detection of many chronic diseases for timely referral to other treatment facilities. Medical units such as the Provincial General Hospital, the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital, regional general hospitals, and medical centers mobilize volunteer doctors and nurses along with socialized resources to expand the scope of service to the people.

These results reflect the province's efforts in ensuring social security and community health care, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people, especially vulnerable groups in society.
