AFC continues to honor Dinh Bac in its list of impressive players.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has selected Dinh Bac to be included in the group of "Most Impressive Players" of the U23 Asian Championship.

Dinh Bac was a standout player for the Vietnam U23 team at the Asian U23 Championship. He scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists, making a significant contribution to the "Golden Star Warriors" securing third place overall.

That impressive achievement earned Dinh Bac the top scorer award of the tournament. Furthermore, today (January 27th), the AFC continued to select the number 7 striker of the Vietnam U23 team to appear in the group of "Most Impressive Players" of the U23 Asian Championship.

Commenting on Dinh Bac's talent, the AFC wrote: "Nguyen Dinh Bac shone brightly at the U23 Asian Championship in Saudi Arabia 2026, leaving a strong impression with a series of decisive performances."

The striker finished the tournament as the top scorer of the 2026 AFC U23 Championship, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists, thus making a significant contribution to helping Vietnam U23 secure third place after defeating South Korea U23 in the penalty shootout.

Dinh Bac is the only player from the Vietnam U23 team to be included in this list. He will compete with striker Ryunosuke Sato of the Japan U23 team in the fan vote. Previously, Sato was honored by the AFC as the best player of the tournament.

Additionally, Li Hao (China), Ali Azaizeh (Jordan), Leonardo Shahin (Lebanon), Rakan Al Ghamdi (Saudi Arabia), Mathias Macallister (Australia), Ali Al Memari (UAE), Kim Do Hyun (South Korea), and Sardorbek Bakhromov (Uzbekistan) are all included in this list.

The AFC will conduct a poll on its website to find the most impressive player. As of now, Dinh Bac is leading with 50% of the votes, ahead of Sato in second place with 16.67%.
